Favorites: Japan

I was lucky enough to go to Japan in January 2017. What an amazing country with even more amazing cuisine. Here are some of my favorites but Im pretty sure I haven’t even touched the service here.

Daiwa Sushi (Sushi)
Bldg 6, 5-2-1 Tsukiji Fish Market

This sushi restaurant is inside the famous Tsukiji fish market, some of the freshest fish you can get!

Katsukura (Tonkatsu)
5-24-2, Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo Shinjuku Takashimaya 14F

Famous for their fried and breaded pork cutlets, severed with shredded cabbage and house made pickles, and barley rice. It was delicious.

Shima Steakhouse
3-5-12 Nihonbashi Chuo Tokyo

Japanese steakhouse serving the famous Wagyu Grade A10 sirloin beef, plus Chef Oshima Manabu gives you steak sandwiches to take home with you as a gift. What is better than that?

Yakitori Hachiman (Yakitori)
3-1-1 Nishiwaseda | Yasui Bldg. B1, Shinjuku 169-0051, Tokyo Prefecture

This restaurant features grilled chicken on bamboo skewers, we had the most amazing chicken sashimi platter (breast and liver) as well as the best fried chicken skin appetizer.
