Emily Karpin

Director of Communications
Benchmarc Restaurants by Marc Murphy

Emily has a degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State and a certificate in International Business, but a career in law wasn’t in the cards for this imaginative and passionate native New Yorker (well, native Hamptonite, to be exact). She moved to Manhattan after a year in London in 2008 and joined the Union Square Partnership in 2009, where she discovered her love for the food and wine industry. It was this realization that brought her to Benchmarc in 2011. Her quick wit is always apparent in her work as the company’s social media guru. She also manages the company’s public events, communications and public relations projects. Self-motivated and detailed oriented, she is always happy to lend a hand in any project that comes her way.
