  1. I launched a curated lifestyle website called The Select 7. Be sure and check it out, you won’t regret it.
  2. I went to NYU graduate school for Magazine Journalism but really always wanted to write the Great American Novel. I don’t think it’s happening.
  3. I don’t believe the customer is always right, so I’m not allowed to work in the front of house anymore.
  4. I started my own magazine, Madison, in 1998 and published it for three years. I still don’t believe magazines will ever really be extinct.
  5. My two kids are the best things I’ve ever done. And they are both way cooler than I am.
  6. I believe the subway is the only reasonable mode of transportation. Unless I’m wearing heels. Then I believe Uber is the only reasonable mode of transportation.
  7. I tend to make friends wherever I go. It has earned me the nickname “Tumbleweed.”
  8. I don’t believe adults should use emoticons. Ever.
  9. My first restaurant job was at a dive bar called Wolfie’s. No one ate there. Ever. My parents felt so bad for me, they suffered through many a meal just so they could leave me a tip.
  10. I love Chef Boyardee ravioli.
  11. If I weren’t married to Marc, I would stalk Mat Kearney with a serious vengeance.
  12. I have the exact same taste in music as my 12-year-old daughter.
  13. My dad was the first importer of BMW motorcycles in the United States. Coincidentally, my one and only job in advertising was working for BMW.
  14. I would rather eat in a restaurant than at home.
  15. I am desperately hoping that having kids means I have a second chance to learn all of the things I didn’t in high school.
